Searching and filtering requirements
Find any requirement fast with keyword search and filters for standard, principle, and severity in the Auditsu standards browser.
Search
Use the search bar labelled "Search by clause, keyword, or requirement..." at the top of the Standards page. Results update as you type and replace the grouped view with a single list ranked by relevance, with each result's standard code shown alongside it.
Search matches clause references, requirement titles and codes, WCAG criterion numbers, standard names, and notes. Typing an exact clause reference, such as 1.1.1, puts that requirement at the top. Everyday terms work too: searching for screen reader, colour, zoom, or mobile surfaces related requirements even when the word does not appear in a title.
Filters
Three dropdowns sit below the search bar:
- All standards: limit the list to a single standard.
- All principles: filter by WCAG principle. Choose Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, or Robust.
- All severities: filter by severity. Choose High or Medium.
Filters combine with each other and with search, and the counter shows how many requirements match.
The principle filter uses WCAG's formal names. In audit results, the same four groups appear under friendlier labels: Visual checks (Perceivable), Keyboard & interaction (Operable), Content & language (Understandable), and Page structure (Robust).
Clearing your view
Select Clear all to reset the search and every filter at once. The button appears whenever a search or filter is active. If nothing matches, the page suggests trying a different search term or adjusting your filters.
