How the Auditsu header, org-scoped pages (Home, Audit, Tickets, Standards), Settings, and breadcrumbs fit together so you always know where you are.

The header

Auditsu keeps the chrome minimal: there is no sidebar. The header runs along the top of every page and contains:

  • The AUDITSU wordmark, which takes you back to Home.
  • Menu, which opens the Lens. Hover over it to see the keyboard shortcut for your platform.
  • Messages and Notifications icons on the right, with unread counts when there is something new.

On smaller screens the Menu button is replaced by a menu icon on the right, which also opens the Lens.

Top-level pages

These pages are scoped to your active organisation:

  • Home: your dashboard. See Home dashboard overview.
  • Audit: your apps and screens, and where you start a New Audit.
  • Tickets: remediation work raised from audit results.
  • Standards: the accessibility requirements Auditsu audits against.

Settings sits alongside them and contains Profile, Organisation, Preferences, and Billing. Your profile and preferences follow you across organisations.

Deeper pages show a breadcrumb trail near the top so you always know where you are. In the audit section the trail runs from Audit through your app and screen to the current view, such as Walkthrough or Results. Each crumb is a link, so you can step back up one level at a time.

Accessibility

Every page has a skip link to jump straight to the main content, and focus moves to the main content area when you navigate, so keyboard and screen reader users never lose their place.
