Auto-Advance Between Checks

After you record a verdict the walkthrough advances to the next check automatically, ending with a completion screen of next steps.

How auto-advance works

When you record a verdict, the walkthrough pauses briefly so you can see your selection register, then moves to the next check automatically. There is no next button to press after each answer, which keeps a long audit moving at a steady rhythm.

Auto-advance always takes you to the next outstanding check in your current traversal order. When you fail a check, the walkthrough advances after the ticket is created, not when the dialog opens.

If another device is paired to the same audit, a verdict recorded there advances the walkthrough on this device too; see Mobile Handoff.

Staying on a check

Auto-advance only runs when a verdict is recorded. To linger on a question, read the guidance for as long as you need before answering, or use Back to return to a check you have already answered. Reviewing an answered check does not move you forward; selecting the same verdict again simply advances without re-recording anything.

Reaching the end

Recording a verdict on the final check completes the run and shows the end screen. From there you can:

  1. Continue to the next surface with unanswered checks
  2. Add another page or screen to the audit
  3. Complete the audit by answering the app-level questions
  4. View your statement, once nothing else is outstanding

Skipped checks do not block the end screen, but they remain outstanding and are listed first when you return to the surface.
