Navigating the Walkthrough

Move between checks with Back and Skip, use arrow key shortcuts, and exit the walkthrough at any time. Progress is saved as you go.

Back and Skip

Two links sit beneath the verdict buttons:

  • Back steps to the previous check, so you can review or change an earlier verdict. It is hidden on the first check.
  • Skip moves to the next check without recording a verdict. It is unavailable on the last check.

Skipping does not answer the check; skipped checks remain outstanding and reappear at the front of the queue when you return to the surface.

Keyboard shortcuts

The walkthrough supports keyboard navigation:

  • Right arrow: move to the next check (same as Skip)
  • Left arrow: go back to the previous check
  • Escape: exit the walkthrough

Shortcuts pause while you are typing in a text field, such as a ticket description. For the full list of shortcuts across the app, see keyboard shortcuts.

Exiting and resuming

You can leave the walkthrough at any time; every verdict is saved the moment you record it. Pressing Escape from a by-surface walkthrough returns you to the surface's page, and from a by-requirement walkthrough returns you to the audit overview.

The address bar tracks your current check, so refreshing the page or sharing the link brings the walkthrough back to the same question. When you re-enter a surface's walkthrough, unanswered checks are presented first, so you pick up where the remaining work is rather than re-reading completed checks.
