Inviting members

Invite teammates to your Auditsu organisation by email, choose their role, revoke pending invitations and approve requests to join.

Sending an invitation

Owners and Admins can invite new members. Whether invitations are available, and how many seats you have, depends on your plan. See pricing.

  1. Open Settings, then Organisation.
  2. In the Invitations section, enter the person's Email address.
  3. Choose a role. Owners can assign Admin, Editor or Read only; Admins can assign Editor or Read only. Editor is the default. See Roles and permissions.
  4. Select Invite.

The person receives an email with a link to join. If the address already has access or a pending invitation, Auditsu tells you and does not send a duplicate.

What the invitee sees

The invitation link shows the organisation name, the role they were invited as and a masked version of their email address.

  • If they already have an Auditsu account, they select Accept invitation.
  • If they are new to Auditsu, they enter their name and a password, then select Create account & join. See Creating your account.

Pending invitations

Pending invitations are listed under Invitations with the invited email, assigned role and expiry date. Each invitation expires on the date shown; expired links no longer work and you need to send a new invitation.

To withdraw an invitation, select the revoke button (the X) next to it and confirm with Revoke. The link stops working immediately. There is no resend option: revoke the old invitation and send a fresh one instead.

Join requests

When someone signs up with an email address on a domain your organisation has claimed, they can send a request to join instead of waiting for an invitation. Pending requests appear in the Join requests section for Owners and Admins.

  1. Open Settings, then Organisation.
  2. In Join requests, choose the role the person should have.
  3. Select Accept to add them, or Reject to decline, optionally with a note.

Rejected requesters can ask again later.
