Leaving an organisation

How to leave

1. Open Settings, then Organisation.
2. Scroll to the Danger zone section.
3. Select Leave organisation.
4. Confirm by choosing Leave in the dialog.

You lose access to the organisation's audits, tickets and statements immediately, and the action cannot be undone from your side.

If you are the last Owner

Every organisation must keep at least one Owner, so if you are the only Owner the Leave organisation option does not appear. Once the organisation has another Owner, the option becomes available to you. See Roles and permissions for how Owner protections work.

Personal organisations

You cannot leave a personal organisation, the workspace created when you sign up on your own. The Danger zone section is not shown there. See Creating your account for how personal workspaces are created.

Rejoining later

Leaving does not delete your Auditsu account. To rejoin an organisation:

• Ask an Owner or Admin to send you a new invitation. See Inviting members.
• If your email address is on the organisation's claimed domain, you can send a request to join, which an Owner or Admin reviews.

If you belong to several organisations, leaving one does not affect the others. You keep working in your remaining organisations as before.
